The owner-chef of Shunsai Yamasaki, Hirofumi Yamasaki, was inspired by a senior chef at the "Hachiko" restaurant in Sonezaki while attending a culinary school in Osaka. This experience led him to choose the path of Japanese cuisine. After graduating from school, he honed his skills for six years at "Tsumugi" in Doshima and then for four years at the well-established ryotei "Shien" in Nishitemma. At the age of 28, he opened his own restaurant, Shunsai Yamasaki - Saidera Branch. In 2009, "Shunsai Yamasaki - Taketani Branch" was also opened, becoming a popular destination with strong local support. Hirofumi Yamasaki is a successful chef with extensive experience and passion in the world of Japanese cuisine. He takes great joy in delivering outstanding dining experiences to his customers.
