The food is good but customer experience can be improved.
Green curry gravy is thick and delicious. Omelette was crispy on the outside and soft inside. Stir fry morning glory vegetables is unique. It is a simple dish cooked with fermented soy beans. Taste good!
Vermicelli dish was OK. Had 2 fresh coconut drinks.

Yummy Thai Cuisine!

My recent visit to Boonlang in Sukhumvit 36, Bangkok, was a enjoyable experience. Nestled in a not-too-large space with two floors, the ground floor boasts a small bar atmosphere, while the second floor offers a unique dining area. The. restaurant seems abit more busy during late afternoon to dinner hours.

Accompanied by three friends, we savored the kra pao pork, kra pao chicken, and yellow curry chicken. All dishes were delicious, leaving each of us content and satisfied. The flavors were spot-on, reflecting the authenticity of Thai cuisine. Considering the quality of the dishes, the overall value was commendable.

Although the service was satisfactory, our server appeared to be having a challenging day. Despite this, the service remained swift and efficient. The restaurant's commitment to delivering timely meals contributed to a positive dining experience.

In conclusion, Boonlang is a worthy addition to Bangkok's culinary scene. With flavorful dishes that justify their cost and a different unique atmosphere, this restaurant is worth trying for those seeking an enjoyable Thai dining experience around Sukhumvit 36.

A really cute restaurant that offers a wonderful taste of Thai cuisine that foreigners know and love. The staff were really kind and spoke English well. We ordered the prawns pad thai, pork kra pao with rice (+ fried egg), and chicken stir fried with big flat noodles and dark soy sauce. All three were delicious. The pad thai was my favorite; the sweet flavored sauce mixed with the chewy noodles were exactly what I hope for in a pad thai. I hope to come back and dry other dishes! Highly recommend this place, especially for new visiting foreigners.

After watching OTR, we know about this place, I am so gland came to try, we ordered stir fry morning glories, Pad thai with prawn, Issan sausage, beer and Strawberry Mojito. The stri fry morning glories is the best so far in my life experience, even just a simple stri fry vegetable dish, but you can test the fermented soy beans with smoky flavor, truly special.  The Pad thai dish also super flavorful if you like prawn!  Strawberry mojito is not on the menu, but the waiter knows I prefer sweet mojito, he offer to make me a sweet version of Mojito, that is soooo nice of him! Definitely we will
