I loved going back to a different branch of this restaurant. The ambiance is amazing and great. There is outdoor seating. Valid for food is reasonable and worth it.

While it is not particularly difficult to get seafood in Bangkok, it can be difficult to identify eateries that offer fresh seafood, have a wide selection of meals to appeal to a variety of palates, and are conveniently located as accessibility is crucial, particularly for tourists. After eating at Laem Charoen's restaurant in Iconsiam, I got the impression that I had finally discovered the ideal venue for seafood of a certain calibre and quality.  The servers were really attentive, courteous, and friendly, and the food was great and served in a timely manner! The best part about this chain is that they are located in so many places around Bangkok so you’re never really too far from exceptionally tasty seafood dishes as there’s a high possibility of Laem Charoen being very close to you somewhere! The place was buzzing and the atmosphere was quite lively! I tried the deep fried seabass with their aromatic fish sauce, crab meat fried rice, crab meat curry with wild betel leaf and vermicelli and many other things and thoroughly enjoyed everything! The garlic fried freshwater shrimps were huge and cooked to perfection. It’s a great serving size to share as well. The Creamy Tom Yum Goong Soup was hearty, spicy and so incredibly flavourful! What I love about Thai food is that it can be so spicy and yet you can taste all the flavours perfectly without the spice overpowering or dampening their original tastes! The fact that they inform their diners that they can prepare the food separately as well for those who require food to be prepared in a certain manner, as well as those who are looking for Halal food, and that they can still come and dine here even though they do not have halal certification, was another thing I loved. They make sure to follow guidelines that make it convenient for muslim travellers to enjoy the food they have to offer, which is great! Overall, if you're visiting Bangkok, I'd highly suggest it to locals, residents, and visitors alike!
The batter of the Deep fried fish,which was only lightly fried, was delicious and not at all heavy, Whenever I travel, I hardly ever see crab used in so many unique and enjoyable ways, so the crab dishes were fantastic as well!

That Signature fish is really good. Deep fired even 80% fish bone can eat!

This restaurant has turned out to be quite disappointing. The food, including the style of dishes, looks not tasty, no decorating, and the portions are much smaller than what I used to eat at this chain restaurant in the past. Even though the fish is fresh, every dish has a sweet taste, even the fish cake! which was quite disappointing. The service wasn't great either, as many of the staff members seemed like trainees who lacked proper training. We had to wait a long time for ice and fresh water and had to ask for water more than twice because many dishes were spicy. In my opinion, the restaurant should serve water to customers first. I hope that the restaurant can improve and become as good as it was in the past.

View towards the river and the tallest building in Thailand were nice. Food was okay. Crab fried rice was average. Black pepper sea bass was flavorful, but the filet wasn't cut well with fin pieces, bones and more left in the carcass. Can't say I'll go again.
