A modern restaurant that relies on authentic Thai cuisine with a twist.

We got a lot of recommendations on it, and the experience was very good, except we were kind of disappointed with the food and it didn't meet our expectations after the hype we heard this restaurant has.

After ordering the food, they serve a complimentary set of appetizer dishes - a classic papaya salad (was too spicy in my opinion), a papaya salad with fermented fish sauce (we couldn't eat it at all as it had a strong fermented flavor), pork cracklings with 3 dipping sauces (all three tasted good but 2 of them were way too spicy so we couldn't really enjoy them).

From the starters section we ordered a larb kon muang pork which is a warm salad made from ground pork meat and some green herbs. The flavors were good, but again it was also a bit too spicy to our palate.
Another dish we tried was the mok pla which is fish pieces sticked together and steamed in a banana leaf. This one was also ok, but it had dill in it (which we absolutely hate), and it kind of ruined the dish for us. We never imagined we'll be served dill in a Thai cuisine restaurant.

For the main dish we ordered the fermented pork ribs which were by far the best dish of our lunch, as they were perfectly cooked & seasoned, so that one single dish saved lunch for us.

The service was kind and professional, but the prices were quite high and I'm not sure it was the best VFM for us, considering we didn't like most of the food, as well as portion sizes weren't so big.

To conclude, if you're planning on coming here, I'd recommend checking out the menu in advance and making sure you relate to it, otherwise you'll leave somewhat disappointed like we did.

For the serious foodies:
The technical execution is not good enough for the price

This is a weird place because they have a lot of English and the prices are sky high, so you'd think they appeal to tourists, but the dips are so ridiculously spicy that you'd think only a true Thai can stomach them. Wtv the case, it translates to an absolutely empty restaurant during lunch

The dry aged beef tongue has the super bouncy texture from the dry aging, which is not good it has way too much bite. The unpleasant glaze? on the surface of the tongue completely overwhelms everything, so it's not good.

Duck heart chimichurri is pretty good, their duck heart is decent and the chimichurri is seriously good. However the duck hearts were way too hot when served, making for a very unpleasant eating experience when the dips were so spicy

Second visit:
Northern hot dog was a blast of flavours, pickle was brilliant, but it needed a bit more balance. Also, the sausage itself is served way too hot, since it's spicy

Pictured is their Jasmine wagyu bms11 oyster blade. Looks good enough but I find it hard to spit out 2500thb for a 200g piece of Thai wagyu, that's pretty much Japanese wagyu prices, except that this is only oyster blade, not ribeye

Pork skewers has a nice fish sauce marinade but very similar to the duck heart. Moreover, it also has the overly bouncy bite. I've seen a few people complaining about the bite of their food in the reviews

Banana dessert was not good
Their ice cream was way too cold and not smooth. The banana crisps were too big to eat properly, and despite one component, the juicy bananas intriguing me, the flavours just doesnt pop at all. Plus, the coconut milk was nowhere near viscous enough to work as a sauce

The quality of the food does not justify the price. No wows, and some execution aren't good enough, so really no reason to visit. If you think I'm being too harsh, this is a place that serves 500thb appetisers and 1000 thb mains, so they're fine dining, and should be critiqued as such

Be warned : the dips are spicy .
I would say this restaurant serves very authentic Thai local dishes ( northeastern and northern food) with a twist. Execution of each dishes were beautiful . Because of their desire to maintain the authenticity , dips are rather spicy . However , if chilli is too much for you , they do provide a nonspicy  chimichurri dip.
Restaurant can get very noisy if there is a big group table .

Love a restaurant that not only champions local produce but champions nose to tail, stalk to root cooking so that nothing gets wasted in the cooking.

100 is both familiar yet totally modern in its menu. You taste familiar Thai flavors but with modern elevated takes on the dishes.

While I am tempted to say the star attractions of the restaurant are its beautiful meat selection ( especially the beef) and their incredible grill mastery ( trust me, they were very very good),

The hidden gem was their very clever dessert selection. Again, taking the theme of familiar flavors and putting a spin on it. Green mango salad as a dessert? Amazing ...

Service was attentive, knowledgeable and unobtrusive, just the way I like it.

A must visit ...

Day 2 dinner: The food at this Michelin Bib Gourmand restaurant was amazing (especially the addictive pork crackling 🤤), 15/10! Recommend!
