Had what I call as truly royal rendition of Thai cuisine, served with a sublime wine pairing.

I had the dinner menu, with the chef choosing. Wasn’t really sure what each food was but each course was just a lovely enjoyable meal.

my fav menu would be the lobster dish and the soup with rice, felt really rich in taste.

For decor and vibe, definitely five star and luxurious.

We opted for the tasting menu and were thoroughly impressed! Every dish was exceptional, but the hor mok (otak otak custard) was a standout - truly delicious! A memorable dining experience with flavors that delighted throughout.

I had dinner at Paste Bangkok with my friend last November. During our stay in Bangkok, we tried a variety of foods, from luxury hotel restaurants to street food stalls, but honestly, we were quite disappointed with Paste. Although it is a Michelin one-star restaurant, nothing stood out in terms of taste, presentation, atmosphere, or service. It costed nearly JPY 40,000 for a glass of wine, an appetizer, and a main course. While the pomelo salad was delicious, the beef rib and crab curry were too sweet for our taste. The beef rib, in particular, was unappealing and tasted like a Japanese B-grade gourmet dish “hayashi rice”, which was especially disappointing. Given that there are many cheaper and tastier restaurants in Bangkok, I don’t think it is worth the visit.
