This is a restaurant inside the St. Regis hotel in Bangkok.
Interior is nicely decorated, and the food selection is good.

I did encounter an issue, where I was not able to use a coupon that was issued through Club Marriott Thailand.

That specifically is not their fault, as club Marriott does have very limited hotels participating, and this hotel is not one of them.
However, I did call ahead and confirmed from one of their staff, that this coupon was eligible to use at this restaurant.

Apparently, there is a “St. Regis club”, and a “Marriott club” program, and according to the manager who I spoke with, apparently the staff should be asking the customer which program they participate in.
I informed her that I was never asked this, and eventually she honoured my coupon.

It seems Club Marriott needs to provide a better and clearer direction on which hotels are participating, and from what I have experienced this past year, I do not believe this program, at almost 10,000 bahts (around $270USD), is worth the price.

I appreciated the manager honouring the discount, but did feel she could have recovered this issue quickly, without the lengthy explanation. After all, the main issue was that their staff neglected to inform me that the coupon was not eligible here.

It was also disappointing that she quickly closed our bill, when we were considering dessert.

Went to have 4-course set lunch.
Food is nice. Staff is doing their job like robot.
Environment is cold and dull. Atmosphere is extremely not lively.
Though the restaurant is spacious and quiet.

I celebrated my birthday here with my husband. We ordered the 7 course dinner at 2,000 baht ++ (service charge and VAT). Because we booked on hungryhub, we got a free mocktail each.

What I liked about the experience:
- all the classics were covered, with options for Wagyu beef, lobster, scallop, duck, lobster bisque, salmon, sea bass etc
- the portion sizes were not too big and manageable. We usually feel sick after a 7 course dinner. This was on the large side but not too large
- the meal was value-for-money
- meats, seafoods, and juice were all very fresh. Bread basket was generous. We even got a free plate of desserts with a Happy Birthday message
- Service was attentive. We never had to wait long in between courses. The manager came round several times to ask if the food was ok. Even helped us to take a photo.

Conclusion - this dinner deserves full marks for the money spent.

Decent foods. Not so overpriced like other 5 star hotel. We had 4-course lunch including soft drinks for only 699 Baht. Great attentive staff. Nice atmosphere. Parking was quite narrow and hotel guests had to go all the way up to 6-9th floor to park.
