Just as the meaning of a.ligne implies, guests come here and ‘stand in line’ to get even a small taste of this exquisite French cuisine. The chef of a.ligne, Akihiro Takamtasu, has over 6 years of experience working in French restaurants and traditional Japanese restaurants. With a desire to grasp what true authentic French cuisine is, he traveled to France where he worked in Toulouse for 18 months before returning to Japan with a new view of how to cook French food. Upon returning, he worked as a pastry chef in Mechant Loup and as a sous-chef at L’EMBELLIR, before he established his own restaurant, a.ligne.
The idea behind a.ligne’s food is that it should be modern and natural. Fresh vegetables from all over the country are delivered to a.ligne so as to give each guest a refreshing taste when they bite into the vegetables offered in each course. Even vegetables picked fresh from the a.ligne farm in Toyota have been used to create house specialties such as baby tilefish with leeks from Kyoto. Through a variety of textures and colors, the food appeals to all five senses as guests dine on only the best.
a.ligne’s interior is made of simple, natural-colored wood, giving the restaurant a more calming and balanced atmosphere. As Chef Takamatsu’s favorite colors are white, gray, dark blue, and wooden colored tones, he uses these colors to decorate the restaurant. While there is a main dining room, a private room that seats up to 6 guests is available.

*The reservation service fee(JPNEAZY commission) is non-refundable for any reasons after the reservation is completed.
*The reservation service fee is included 10% to 15% of the total amount paid.
*The date, time, and number of guests for a reservation can be changed only once.
*The date of cancellation fee will be charged based on each restaurant's business day and JPNEAZY's business day.
