Great service and nice atmosphere as usual. However, the food quality is only average. The place seems quieter than pre-COVID time.

The food here is amazing. Their vast offerings, seafood, sashimi, BBQ and meats. On top of that, you’ll find a wide selection of cheese, fruits and desserts. Lastly, The atmosphere is relaxed  and they make you feel special.  The setting is second to none with the boats floating by.

Went there for BBQ buffet; variety of dishes diminished compared to previous visits; before they offered oysters and ducks as well ; prices skyrocketed to around THB 5.000 per person for a not very extensive buffet (have to say our last time visit was before renovation of MO); quality of food is still top notch; service was very professional, but we what we missed most, was the warmth and heartiness of the staff; no small talk, just a strange smile on their face

We came early as the terrace is only open for guest after 5:30pm , we stay inside at the Verandah. Just so happen it was a rainy day as well.

The service is superb in comparison with Hilton Pattaya where was just lousy. Even the price is much valuable at Mandarin than Hilton. Hilton Pattaya was attractive with the view of Pattaya Bay but the management made a big mistake of taking group tours and totally spoiled the place.

From taking order to delivery, Mandarin maintained her top notch professionalism.  Not like Pattaya Hilton that even wrongly delivered.

Mandarin offer a la carte menu as well as cake set with numerous choice of cakes and coffee/tea at 295++(3-6pm only) comparing to Pattaya Hilton 790 for a tea set which is of  commercial ingredients.

Mandarin is a World Number One Hotel for sure.  Just so happened that  our lady left her wallet at the restroom but only realized after an hour.  We went to the restroom but nothing was found.  We reported to the receptions immediately. After half an hour, Lost & found delivered the wallet intact  to our table.  We were grateful for whoever returned the wallet to Lost & Found.  We can not imagine what would happen at Pattaya Hilton where we were day before.

Pleasantly surprised with their dinner buffet - great seletion of high quality foods. We came on Thanksgiving dinner and they served turkey with the works, ham, prime rib. Enjoyed the other dishes as well, wide selection of appetizers such as salads, sashimis, and even liver terrine; plenty of seafood and main dishes as well. The desserts were really delicious with the passion fruit meringue with caramel sauce as one of the best! Nice ambiance dining by the river and excellent service. I will be back on my next trip to Bangkok!
