This is one of my favorite restaurants, and I always recommend it to friends, clients, or any foreigners who want to try authentic Thai cuisine. It’s one of the few places that still serves traditional dishes like Kratong Thong, Mee Krob Chao Wang, Moo Krajok, and Por Pia Tod a great starter set that lets you sample a variety of flavors at a very reasonable price.

The ambiance is classic and elegant, almost like stepping back into a Suntaraporn-era Thailand, with live piano music and traditional Thai singers performing classic Luk Krung songs while you enjoy your meal. It adds a nostalgic and sophisticated touch to the dining experience.

Today, I ordered some of my favorite dishes. The Green Curry was a hit, mild enough for foreigners to enjoy while still keeping the authentic Thai flavors. The Gaeng Kua Pu Cha-Om (Crab Curry with Acacia Omelet) was rich and flavorful, and the Tom Kha Gai (Coconut Chicken Soup) was another must-try dish. If you’re looking for something special, the Yam Sam Grob (Three Crispy Flavors Salad) is a standout, offering a perfect balance of sweet, sour, and spicy.

This restaurant is a true gem, perfect for introducing foreign visitors to traditional Thai cuisine in a setting that feels both nostalgic and elegant. Highly recommended! 🎶🍛

With Michelin rewards for many years, this place is worth to go when you visit this area. The food tastes in general is good. It’s not so spicy for foreigners who not get use to a spicy food. Service is great, most waiters are quite informative and friendly. In terms of price, it a bit high. However, you could enjoy live traditional Thai songs during lunch and dinner.

The restaurant have been doing well since long time ago more than decade Era. It used to be recognized as Sorndeng Restaurant since our parents in young age. So we keep in good memories by story telling from them, especially how luxurious service for five restaurant, food quality and ingredients with traditional Thai cuisine. Which it have been keeping with us since young age. Fortunately we have a opportunity to visit there this afternoon.

Food: The menu quite good and many selections of Thai cuisine only. The prices and quantities to choose. Small/Medium/Large size of plate you able to choose while ordering with staff. We ordered five menu as per recommended. The food presentations is look good and presentable start from appetizer until main dishes.

Overall all food testing quite simple and nothing wow situation for us. Some dishes we order should be hot or warm like fride appetizers but it end up with cold. But we didn't mention to them as we are in hungry.

Other dishes seem lot of sodium there and salty by the end of time. Pineapple fride rice is really good compared with other.

Service: Not really great since arrived. We didn't make any reservations before. Therefore,  we cannot comment related with table experience. However the emotional of staff seem not to be welcome. Then she found a table for us next to the service desk. But we alright with that. The staff will not come to service on your table unless you wave your hands. Local staff will come and talk to you once you order food. The other will be service by other nations which common sense at this time. We spent there for a hours to complete our hungry. Then we decided to leave without order dessert as per staff not recommend. After we paid. We direct leave the table right away to parking. We gave gratitude to parking man instead of restaurant. Because of human touch was better than inside the building.

Location: Good and can't complain.

1st visit should try as per Michelin star afterwards you decide.

This is an authentic traditional Thai food Michelin star restaurant! And yes, the food lived up the reputation.

I've been going to Bangkok many, many times for more than 40 years, and I can say this could be one of the best Thai food I've tasted.

The service is also good and they have live music.

Recommended by our tour guide.

Wouldn't say the best best Thai restaurant but was still very good and accessible.

Family members - Europeans and Asians. many of who didn't have Thai food experience before - all enjoyed the food.

Thom yam, Pad Thai, and khao pot were all good. Good value for money!
